How Obsidian is enhancing The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition for PS5, out March 7

Obsidian Entertainment has announced an enhanced version of The Outer Worlds for PlayStation 5, called The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition. The game has been updated with 4K, 60FPS graphics, improved particle systems, smarter combat and companion AIs, and better depth of field. In addition to visual enhancements, the game will also take advantage of the DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Players will experience different trigger effects depending on the type of weapon being used, such as linear pressure for the flamethrower and trigger kickback for automatic weapons. The edition will also include the base game's DLCs, Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos, and an increased level cap to 99. Players who already own the base game and its associated DLCs for PlayStation 4 can upgrade to The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition on PlayStation 5 at a reduced price. The game will be available on March 7.
