אגב, דווקא הנעילות של חלק מיצרניות המכשירים (מה שנקרא נעילת ה Bootloader) פחות מפריע לי

והנה דוגמה למה נעילת ה Bootloader של חלק מהיצרנים פחות מציקה לי לטווח הרחוק. סוני אריקסון הודיעה שהיא לא תחסום במכשירים החדשים שלה את ה Bootloader כמו שעושה מוטורולה וכמו שכנראה עושה חברת HTC. כרגע המכשירים המדוברים הם Xperia Play, Arc, Neo, Pro.

עולם האנדרואיד הוא שוק מאוד תחרותי ולכן לציבור לא קטן של חובבי התקנת רומים ומשחקי קונפיגורציה, תמיד יהיה את המכשירים שיתאימו לגחמות שלהם. זה יכול להיות הנקסוס S, ה SGS החדש, מכשירי סוני אריקסון, מכשירי LG ואולי בסוף גם HTC ובעיקר מוטורלה יחזרו למוטב....
