שלרשותו שנים של נסיון על מקרן CRT ומעניין מאד מה שהוא כותב:
"Its strengths is sharpness of 1080p HD picture and processing. With the
Toshiba HD-DVD connected with HDMI - I found shadow detail to be very
good compared to previous crt-projector I have. The night scene on the
dock in the Perfect Storm HD-DVD had lots of contrast and shadow
detail, I would say many times more than previous lcd-projectors I have
seen. Absolute black level is higher than dlps(darkchip3 with iris-closed)
and Pearl. But as mentioned the details and sharpness is incredible,
much due to the Reon-chip, very much like the HD picture I have seen
with the VantageHD-scaler. My personal experience is that the Realta
and Reon-chip delivers a much sharper-looking hd-picture than any other
scaler I have seen including the VXP-Genum-based boxes.
My unit had only 1/4 pixel mis-alignment on red in 1 direction. "
אם להבין מדברי שניהם: ההתקדמות בטכנולוגיה מביאה למצב שאולי המחיר
של המקרנים מהדור החדש נראה "זול" אבל הביצועים מדהימים.
