HULU הודיעו כי יפיקו עונה נוספת בסידרה המעולה - עונה בת 20 פרקים שתופק ע"י היוצרים המקוריים. לצערנו נראה שכרגע שהשחקן שדיבב את בנדר לא יחזור לעונה הנוספת.

It has been confirmed that Futurama will be returning for an eighth season on Hulu, consisting of 20 brand-new episodes, set to premiere in 2023. The reboot will take place a full decade after the series finale aired on Comedy Central. The final episode of season 7, episode 26 "Meanwhile," set up how the reboot could begin, with the Professor activating a time machine designed to warp reality back to the show's pilot episode, essentially restarting the series back to before the pilot. While it's unclear how the reboot will be approached, the episode titles released by Hulu provide some clues.
One of the biggest pieces of news regarding the reboot is that Bender voice actor John DiMaggio will be returning after a contract dispute. The rest of the Planet Express crew, including Billy West (Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg), Katey Sagal (Leela), Tress MacNeille (Leela's Mom, Linda, Nerdbot), Phil LaMarr (Hermes Conrad), Lauren Tom (Amy Wong), and Maurice LaMarche (Calculon, Kif, Morbo), will also be reprising their roles.
